About Think Nutrition
The founder and owner of Think Nutrition, Karen Feltham, is an experienced Nutritional Therapist who graduated from Premier Training International. Although her training has covered all areas of health and nutrition Karen's experience has focused on health issues such as digestive and gut problems, weight management, hormonal imbalances, antenatal and children's health as well as sports nutrition.
As well as providing nutritional therapy through Think Nutrition, Karen is an academic and clinical studies tutor with Premier Training International, where she teaches clinical skills to students of nutritional therapy.
Karen is registered as a qualified Nutritional Therapist with the following organisations
- Nutritional Therapy Council. The NTC is the regulatory body for nutritional therapy in the UK, and maintains an online register of qualified therapists
- Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council. The key function of the CNHC is to enhance public protection by setting standards for registration with CNHC. The CNHC ‘quality mark' is being recognised as the hallmark of quality for the sector. This means that the general public, and those who commission the services of complementary healthcare practitioners, will be able to choose with confidence by looking for the CNHC quality mark.
The Department of Health in November 2009 stated: "CNHC is the only voluntary regulatory body for complementary healthcare which has official government backing. No other organisation has the same exacting criteria or focus on safety and quality.
As a registered BANT member Karen abides by their strict code of ethics and their requirements for qualifications and professional development.
